The Romans didn’t sit at a table to eat, they lay on couches or on the floor with cushions. We decided to do the same while we tasted our Roman foods.
We tasted black and green olives, pancakes with honey,cucumber, dates, pomegranate, porridge and pomegranate juice.

2. Some of the Romans were rich.
3. Romans didn’t sit at tables to eat, they lay down on a couch.
