Pompeii

We were learning about Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii so Mrs Morton came in to talk to us about it because she has been to Pompeii.
I learned that there were two towns, one on each side of Mount Vesuvius. One was called Pompeii and one was called Herculaneum. Myryn

Pompeii was coverd in ash and Herculaneum was covered in mud and lava. Chloe

Ancient Roman Visits Primary 3!

  • Roman Food Tasting

    The Romans didn’t sit at a table to eat, they lay on couches or on the floor with cushions. We decided to do the same while we tasted our Roman foods.
    We tasted black and green olives, pancakes with honey,cucumber, dates, pomegranate, porridge and pomegranate juice.

    1. The Romans had lots of rooms in their houses.
    2. Some of the Romans were rich.
    3. Romans didn’t sit at tables to eat, they lay down on a couch.
    4. The rich Romans had a banquet.
    5. The poor romans ate vegetable porridge.
